Work Experience
2007 – 2009 Visiting Lecturer at Northumbria University
1993 – 2006 Adult and Community Education at Newcastle College. Began as a part timer teaching creative writing and study skills, managed a variety of provision and teams, wrote research papers and designed the “From Scratch” Curriculum. Appointed Head of Adult and Community Learning in 2005. Managed a department with 100 staff, 8000 students and a budget of £3.5 million.
